“Some leaders may serve the Word, and leaders may serve tables, but all leaders serve (Acts6).”[1]

Below are three quick points concerning serving and Christian leadership, I hope they encourage you as you use your talents and inspire you to maintain a good attitude as you serve the Lord.

SERVING IS LEADING

Serving, by its very nature, is doing something that someone else is not doing.  Any time you do something that no one else is doing you are providing a path to follow.  Serving, by default, makes you an example.  As you serve you provide a model of leadership for others to follow.
